New Year New Flu: How to Avoid Your First Interruption of 2020
It’s the first bit of 2020. Your plans are set and you are ready to make all those changes you have been talking about for the last month. Maybe you have that fancy new workout equipment ready to go, or perhaps your business strategy ready for deployment. You are unstoppable……..until it hits. You wake up with that achy feeling. As the day progresses it only gets worse. Before you know it, you (and your big plans) are down for the count. You visit the doctor and your worst fears are confirmed. It’s the flu. NOOOOO! How can this happen?! You had everything ready to go and now look at you: You will spend the next two weeks or so dipping into your stash of remedies, OTC meds, and everything else you can find to get yourself feeling better and back on track.
BUT AIN’T NOBODY GOT TIME FOR THAT!
Instead of spending all of your time and energy in recovering from such a nasty little virus, Let’s look at some ways you can avoid it all together. Let these words act as your guide to avoiding the flu in 2020. Stick to them as closely as possible because they WILL ensure you have the best chance of survival.
Cleanliness is next to Godliness…or so they say
Let’s start here and find a happy medium in which to live.. Is it important to remain clean? Yes. Do you need to spend every waking moment applying hand sanitizer, rubbing down every surface, and treating members of your family like you are a 1970’s bubble boy? NO. In the realm of realism, there are a number of ways you can maintain your busy life while ensuring you remain clean. Most studies nowadays show that the use of Hand sanitizer is far below traditional soap and water, so when you can, ensure you are washing those hands with soap and water! I’ll say it again for those in the back, soap. and. water. Next, ensure you are keeping surfaces clean using all natural and harsh chemical free cleaning products. Remember, you want to be keeping up with a clean living and work space to reduce exposure and kill what’s just waiting to attack. In the words of the villain Scar from Disney’s The Lion King, “Be Prepared!”
It’s what’s on the inside that counts
Ever hear the term “GIGO”? It is a popular acronym amongst computer programmers that stands for Garbage In, Garbage Out. In terms of health, it fits perfectly. If you spend your time filling your vital organs with garbage, you will suffer the consequences. Remember, every little thing you consume is filtered through your system and at some point, used by the body. So apologize to your liver for what you did to it on New Year’s Eve and DO BETTER. Put down the bacon cheeseburger and step away from the gallon of soda you keep putting down! Hydrate with water that isn’t mixed with vodka. Fill your belly with lean meats, fruits and dare I say it …vegetables. Look, whatever you are putting into your body will be utilized to create every cell inside you. So if you are the person putting garbage in, you’re going to get garbage out or better yet, you will be composed entirely of garbage. I don’t think anyone really wants that.
Should I Get a Flu Shot?

Take some time to educate yourself and make what you feel is the best decision for you and your family.
And that’s all I will say about that.
Check and Clear the Nervous System
OF COURSE THERE IS A SECTION ON THE NERVOUS SYSTEM! THERE WILL NEVER NOT BE ONE!
We know the nervous system is the single most important system in the body because it controls, well, everything. Every cell, every tissue, and every organ. Having your system checked via infrared Thermography is THE SINGLE MOST EFFECTIVE way to help prevent the flu. Being adjusted when necessary boosts immune function. Being adjusted when necessary increases a person’s adaptability. Being adjusted when necessary simply makes life thrive. It is in your best interests to make an appointment with your local Chiropractor that utilizes Computerized Infrared Thermography in order to make sure you have the best chance against the flu.
No one wants the flu. No one wants to be sick. When life comes at you hard, it is up to you to be ready. It is up to me to ensure you are in the best strategic position, and are equipped with everything you need to live your happiest, healthiest life. Let’s talk.
